Gansey Knitters / The Dilly Song - from SALTLINES featuring Gigspanner Big Band and Raynor Winn
Saltlines is a prose and music collaboration between Peter Knight's Gigspanner Big Band, and Raynor Winn, author of the global best-selling memoir, The Salt Path. Gansey Knitters is a piece of prose written by Raynor about the skill of knitting fishermen's jumpers and The Dilly Song is a traditional counting song, this Cornish version (Kan Dilly) was notated down by folk song collector Sabine Baring-Gould and published in his book "Songs and Ballads of the West".
Saltlines presents an evocative portrait of the south-west coast path...its landscapes...

So this is it.
